2019 Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting will be held on September 18th at the main pavilion at Liberty Park in Batesville and starts at 6:30 PM.
Wednesday, September 18, 2019, 6:30 PM, all FGA members and the public are invited to attend the annual meeting, to be held at the Pavilion at Liberty Park in Batesville. This meeting will be held in conjunction with our September Community Gathering.
This special gathering will feature a taco bar, prepared by Big Four Cafe. There will be a vegetarian option. All tableware and drinks will be provided as well.
Our speaker for the evening will be Nate Brownlee from Nightfall Farm. His topic will be 'A Future with Farmers'. You may remember Nate, who ran the SIFTI program for FGA a few years ago. Nate, along with his wife Liz, is a successful farmer with a meat CSA, as well as he provides meat to local restaurants. Nate also helps run the Hoosier Young Farmers Coalition. Check out their website at www.nightfallfarm.com.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your entry to this event is your dish to share, but if you don't feel like cooking, it is $10/person for non-members, $5/person for members--at the door. We do not accept credit cards at the door. Please indicate in your RSVP if you will be bringing a dish or paying at the door.
During this meeting we will also be electing new board members and are actively seeking nominees. If you are interested in local food and furthering the FGA's mission to educate farmers on how to grow and sell local, consumers on how to buy and eat local, and bring local food into our local institutions, then we want you! Please contact us at email@example.com if you are interested in being on the board.
